Welcome to Pooch Pawsitive Dog Training Classes!
We know you’re busy. We know that sometimes you can’t attend a class because of other commitments. We know you want to get started right away.
We’re making it easier and more convenient to train your dog!
- Get started sooner (classes start every 4 weeks)
- Flexible attendance (you won't 'miss' a class...just take it another time)
- Lessons on specific behaviors that are important to you
- Repeat classes if you want additional practice.
Each lesson is 50 minutes long: 30 minutes are instruction for that lesson’s particular topic. 20 minutes are used for practice and individual help throughout the lesson.
Here’s how to get started:
- Call or Pre-register for the Orientation class. Orientation teaches you (the human) the fundamentals before you start to work with your dog. Orientation is without your dog.
- At Orientation, purchase a punch card with a set number of lessons. Punch cards can be used for 6 months from the purchase date.
- The 3 Basics classes (either for Puppy or Adult dog) are the starting point for all other classes. Basics class gives you and your dog the foundation skills necessary for future lessons. It is recommended that you take these 3 lessons in order. However, if you can’t attend a lesson, go ahead and take it on a different week. You can also repeat any class if you’d like – just use one of your pre-paid punches.
- Once you’ve completed the Basics lessons, you are welcome to go to any Additional Lesson on the topic of your choosing. Just use your punch card!
Punch cards Purchase your punch card at Orientation. Subsequent Punch cards can be purchased at any time. Your card will be punched once for each lesson that you attend. Orientation is free when you purchase a Punch Card.
